Gallegos played in all 18 contests in her first season with the Pirates, starting six times. She scored nine points (tied for second on the team) with four goals and one assist. Gallegos took 17 hots, 11 on goal, for a .647 shots on goal percentage. She was member of the SCAC Fall 2010 Student-Athlete Academic Honor Roll.
High School
Ashley, a 2009 graduate of Chapin High School in El Paso, TX, earned two varsity letters in volleyball and three is soccer for the Huskies. Ashley was a first team All-District member as a freshman and sophomore and was on the El Paso top 12 players to watch list as a junior. A transfer from Hendrix College, Ashley was the leading goal scorer for the Warriors.
Personal
She is the daughter of Raul Gallegos and Elizabeth Aragon. She has two siblings, Liz and Raul. Ashley is majoring in psychology with a minor in education while at SU.
