The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) announced its 2020-21 Men's Soccer All-Tournament Team, naming Southwestern's Garrison Van Houten to the list of 12 student-athletes.
Van Houten, a senior defender from Port Neches, Texas, was instrumental in Southwestern shutting out Centenary in the Pirates' 0-0 draw in the SCAC Semifinals. He earned his second consecutive All-SCAC Second Team honor this season, anchoring the stingiest defense in the conference.
Southwestern finished the season unbeaten with a 4-0-4 record. The Pirates allowed only three goals all season, posting five shutouts. Their season ended in penalty kicks against Centenary in the semifinals, with the Gentlemen advancing.
