2012 (First-year)
Vaughn played in 16 games for the Pirates in his rookie campaign. He helped a defense post eight shutouts on the season as he came off the bench for Southwestern.
High School
Vaughn was a letterwinner in soccer and cross country for the Tornados. He was an Honorable Mention All-District pick as a sophomore, First Team All-District and First Team All-County selection his junior season and First Team All-District and First Team All-County as a senior. He is also a member of the National Honor Society.

Tyler is the son of Kim and Tom Vaughn and has two siblings, Adam and Alec. He is majoring in biology at Southwestern.
