GEORGETOWN, Texas – Southwestern moved their home win streak to three and remain unbeaten at home in SCAC action with a 1-0 victory over Centenary College Sunday.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Ana Gutierrez gave Southwestern the lead with 13 minutes remaining in the first half as her lofting free kick from 30 yards out drifted into goal.
• Southwestern had the chance they needed to double their lead with a penalty kick in the 87^th minute but Gutierrez's shot went off the cross bar and the follow-up by Shannon Lukehart was saved by Erica Coker.
• The Pirates were able to fend off a last few frazzled attempts at tying by the Ladies but held strong to secure the win.
