KERRVILLE, Texas – Southwestern's Hayley Miesse tied the game in the second half but Schreiner scored the game-winner just before halftime and held off the Pirates to win 2-1.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • In the 20th minute Schreiner broke the seal as Delaney Morrow, assisted by Alex Gil, scored to put the Mountaineers up 1-0.
  • Seven minutes later Miesse evened the count, unassisted.
  • Schreiner's Morrow scored again with less than two minutes to play in the first half and Schreiner held off Southwestern to earn the 2-1 win.

UP NEXT
