SHREVEPORT, La. – Southwestern women's soccer controlled every aspect of the game from the opening whistle to defeat Centenary College 2-0 Sunday.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Off the boot of Sarah Bevins in the 25th minute the Pirates took the lead 1-0 and led 14-3 in the shot count with eight being on frame in the first 45.
- Kierstyn Luckock, assisted by Shannon Lukehart gave the Pirates a 2-0 lead just six minutes into the second half as SU rocketed off five shots in that time span.
- Goal keeper Kylie Hunt earned the clean sheet for the third time this season with six saves.
