GEORGETOWN, Texas – Southwestern's Kylie Hunt had a stunning season opener in goal despite a 3-0 loss to Hardin-Simmons on Tuesday evening.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- HSU's Shannon Byrd found Josey Meyer just left of goal who found the back of the net to put the Cowgirls on top 1-0 in the 11th minute.
- Maddie McAdams headed home Tori Waters lofting corner in the 52nd minute to put HSU up 2-0
- Kenne Kessler headed home the second rebound in the 70th minute to score the third and final goal.
