Played in nine games in her final season with the Pirates.
2007 [Junior Year]
Smith appeared in 18 matches starting 3 on the season for the
Bucs...scored 3 goals and had 4 helpers for 10 points...ranked
sixth in points and goals, and ranked second in assists on the
Pirate squad...had a team high 2 assists vs. UMHB in a 5-1 win on
September 14...her game winning goal was scored in a 4-3 win vs.
UT-Tyler on Sept. 9.
2006 [Sophomore Year]
Smith finished the season tied for the third-most goals on the team
with four for eight points on the year... started seven contests
for the Pirates... put .429 percent of her shots on the goal...
connected on four of six shots on goal.
2005 [First Year]
Smith started every game of her first year at SU... was one of just
two first-years to start all of the games... attempted one shot
during the season, putting it on goal.
High School
Smith was named the District Defensive Most Valuable Player as a
senior... was selected to the All-South Texas Team... was a First
Team All-District selection twice during her prep career... served
as the captain of the volleyball and soccer teams... was named
First Team All-District in volleyball twice... was a member of the
