Sam Davis headlined three Southwestern women's soccer selections to the United Soccer Coaches Region X All-Region teams.

Davis, a defender from New Braunfels, Texas, was an All-SCAC First Team selection. She anchored one of the stingiest defenses in the region, with the Pirates allowing only .076 goals per game and posting a SCAC-best 10 shutouts. Not only was Davis a constant presence everywhere in the Pirates' defensive third, shutting down opportunities before they developed, but her ability to take the ball and weave through heavy traffic also helped key Southwestern's transition attack, and she contributed three goals.

Sophomore goalkeeper Johnna Campbell and freshman forward Samantha Hazen were named to the Region X All-Region Second Team.

This season, Campbell was the top goalkeeper in the SCAC, earning First Team All-Conference honors with 14 wins, including 10 shutouts, with 68 saves on a .829 save percentage for a 0.76 goals-against average. Hazen was the SCAC Newcomer of the Year after scoring nine goals, including four game-winners and eight assists, totaling 26 points.

Southwestern finished the season with a 15-2-1 record, making it to the SCAC Championship game and earning the first national ranking in program history, finishing the regular season at No. 22 while ranking second in Region X prior to postseason play.
