High School

Maples earned letters in volleyball and soccer for the Cougars after coming to San Antonio from Aviano, Italy where she was an All-Europe First Team selection in both sports. Maples was a First Team All-District pick in soccer and has played internationally on the U-20 Italian regional team and was the first American to play on the U-18 Italian national team. She also competed on the US national women's beach soccer team. 

Personal

Krysta is the daughter of Jamie and John Maples and has one sibling, Talen. She is majoring in kinesiology at Southwestern.
