GEORGETOWN, TEXAS - Southwestern Women's Lacrosse (2-7, 1-4) finished out their season against the University of Wisconsin - Stout (4-10, 0-5) on Saturday afternoon. The Pirates led from start to finish in the contest, taking a 5-1 lead by the end of the first quarter. The Pirates scored one goal to the Blue Devils two in the second quarter, leading to a 6-3 lead at the end of the half. Southwestern would run away with the victory in the second half, scoring eight goals on the way to a 14-5 victory.
HIGHLIGHTS
Cecilla Cantu led the Pirates in scoring on the day with seven goals on thirteen shots. Cantu also grabbed seven draw controls in the afternoon.
Raquel Kurth notched seven points in the contest with six goals and one assist, also recording five draw controls.
Hallie Mayfield capped off the game with a goal, two draw controls, and two ground balls for the Pirates.
NOTES
Susette Mireles grabbed four ground balls against the Blue Devils with one caused turnover.
