GEORGETOWN, TEXAS - The Southwestern women's lacrosse team made program history on Friday night against the Wartburg Knights. The Pirates allowed zero goals against the Knights, a program first, a remarkable feat in any sport. Shutouts are challenging to come by regardless of the caliber of the team, especially in a game as fast as lacrosse. The Pirates were able to keep the ball in their offensive end for the majority of the contest. Southwestern dominated the stat column, scoring sixteen goals, winning thirteen draw controls, and only needing one save to take the victory.
