
Sierra Rupp of Southwestern University, a first-year midfielder from Bellevue, Washington, has been named the SCAC Women's Lacrosse Defensive Player-of-the-Week for games played from Monday, April 4
through Sunday, April 10.
Rupp led the Pirates' defensive effort in Sunday's 26-2 conference victory over Dallas, contributing with a team-high five ground balls as well as four draw controls and three caused turnovers. Rupp was all over the field on Sunday as she also chipped in offensively with three goals on four shots for a 75 percent shooting percentage.
