Emma Pertuit Wins SCAC Defensive Player-of-the-Week

Emma Pertuit of Southwestern University a junior midfielder from Seabrook, Texas, has been named the SCAC Women's Lacrosse Defensive Player-of-the-Week for games played from Monday, March 21 through Sunday, March 27.

Pertuit had 10 caused turnovers and 16 ground balls in three games last week, helping the Pirates to go 3-0 and achieve a single season program record win total of nine games. For the season, Pertuit sits atop the SCAC in ground balls (42), caused turnovers (19) and draw controls (50).
