Raquel Kurth Wins SCAC Defensive Player-of-the-Week

RAQUEL KURTH OF SOUTHWESTERN UNIVERSITY, a sophomore midfielder from Austin, Texas has been named the SCAC Women's Lacrosse Defensive Player-of-the-Week for games played from Monday, Feb. 28 through Sunday, March 6th.

Kurth had three ground balls and caused three turnovers as the Pirates defeated the Calvin Knights, 14-9. She also chipped in offensively with one goal. For the season, Kurth is tied for second in the league in caused turnovers and tied for sixth in ground balls.
