The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) announced its 2021 women's lacrosse all-conference team with seven Southwestern players making the All-SCAC team and two more earning honorable mention.

Raven Garcia, Natasha Perez-Krause, Raquel Kurth, Emma Pertuit, Brooke Folliard, Skye George, and Natalie Zequeira were named to the All-SCAC team.

Folliard and Pertuit headlined the selections, winning SCAC Defender of the Year and SCAC Midfielder of the Year.

Folliard, a sophomore defender from Austin, Texas, was voted a captain this season by her fellow teammates and did an amazing job stepping into that leadership role. From being a traditional midfielder in 2020, Folliard was moved to a low defender role to help lead the Pirates' young defensive unit this season. Southwestern averaged 9.33 caused turnovers and 24.67 ground balls per game – the latter being the fourth-highest single-season total in SCAC history. Her 10 caused turnovers were good for fifth in the conference and her 21 ground balls placed her eighth. Folliard also pitched in offensively for the Pirates with eight goals scored and five assists.

Pertuit, a sophomore midfielder from Seabrook, Texas, is third in the nation in draw controls per game (9.73), breaking the school record she set last season (8.71). Her 82 total draw controls this season are the most in program history and second-most in SCAC history. Pertuit also finished fourth in the nation in ground balls per game (7.45), setting a new program record. She scored 17 goals with nine assists for 26 points. Pertuit's selection as Midfielder-of-the-Year represents a first for the Southwestern women's lacrosse program.

Garcia, a junior attacker from Georgetown, Texas, led the SCAC in points with 57, scoring 40 goals and recording 17 assists, finishing second in the conference in both categories. Her 5.18 points and 3.64 goals per game are the second-highest in program history. She broke the Southwestern record for most points in a game with 15 on April 23, against Hendrix, scoring 10 goals with five assists.

Kurth, a freshman midfielder from Austin, Texas, scored 16 goals and four assists for 20 points, recording 32 draw controls and 19 ground balls. Perez-Krause, a junior midfielder from Houston, Texas, scored 17 goals with four assists for 21 points with 14 ground balls and nine draw controls.

George, a sophomore defender from Houston, Texas, scored three goals and recorded 11 grounds balls, seven caused turnovers, and two draw controls. Zequeira, a freshman defender from Katy, Texas, recorded 13 ground balls with two caused turnovers.

Liana Collins and Deanna Hames were All-SCAC Honorable Mention.

Hames, a sophomore midfielder from Murrieta, California, led the SCAC with 41 goals scored and finished second in points with 52. Her 3.73 goals per game set a new program record. Collins, a freshman defender from Winter Park, Florida, scored 13 goals with six assists for 19 points, recording 16 ground balls, two draw controls, and five caused turnovers.

Southwestern finished the season 6-5, recording its third consecutive winning season and finishing second at the SCAC Tournament.
