SAN ANTONIO — Southwestern women's swimming and diving team remains in second place after the second day of the Trinity Tiger Invitational with a score of 522. 

The Pirates scored a pair of third-place finishes to open the day. In the 200-yard medley relay, Emma Frey, Natalie Gierat, Jesse Stovall, and Emma Williams finished at 1:49.16, followed by Maysen Hauck finishing the 400-yard individual medley with a time of 4:45.21. 

Stovall earned a second-place finish in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 59.90, and Emma Frey clocked in at 58.38 for a second-place finish in the 100-yard backstroke. 

Southwestern will wrap up its weekend at the Tiger Invitational tomorrow.
