SAN ANTONIO – The Southwestern women's swim team placed fourth overall at the Trinity Invite, which wrapped up Sunday evening.
The Pirates racked up 352 points during the three-day competition. Henderson State (756.5 points) won the meet, while Trinity (737.5) finished second and Texas-Permian Basin (517) placed third.
Taylor Adams led Southwestern with a second-place finish in the 200-yard butterfly. Adams logged a career-best time of 2:15.27 in the event.
The Pirates wrapped up the first half of their season and will return to action January 3 against Albion.
