SHREVEPORT, La. – Southwestern fell behind 23-13 in the first quarter and could not make up ground as Texas Lutheran defeated the Pirates 70-50 in the SCAC Championship.  

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Texas Lutheran opened the game on a 9-0 run and held the advantage into the second quarter.
• Southwestern matched TLU in the second quarter and trailed 35-24 at the break.
• SU wasn't able to close the gap as TLU did enough to keep the advantage and take the win.
