GEORGETOWN, TEXAS - Southwestern Women's Basketball (4-17) continued their roadtrip to Sherman, Texas for a matchup versus the Austin College Roos (6-15). The Roos had a very strong 4th quarter to pull away from the Pirates and earn the 66-52 victory. 

HIGHLIGHTS:

• Ellie Ward led the Pirates with 15 points.

• Aniyah Burke added 10 points along with 4 assists and 3 steals.

• Lauren Stevens went 2/2 for 3-pointers and finished with 8 points. 

NOTES:

• The Pirates shot 75% from the FT line, 18/24

• The Roos outscored the Pirates by 12 points in the 4th quarter

• The Pirates scored 16 points in the paint compared to the Roo's with 34 points
