Started in all 35 games for the Pirates this season...went 30-116
from the plate for a .259 batting average...had six doubles, tied
for third most on the team, one triple and 19 RBI's...posted a .328
slugging percentage and .320 on base percentage...walked 10
times...stole 12 bases in 13 attempts...had 31 putouts, 84 assists
and five errors for .958 fielding percentage...SCAC All-Tournament
Team...All-SCAC Honorable Mention.
2007 & 2008
Katelyn comes to Southwestern after playing for two years at
Howard Payne University. While at HPU, Katelyn was named ASC West
Freshman of the year and 1st team All Conference ASC West.
High School
Katelyn is a 2006 graduate of Taylor High School in Taylor, TX.
She was a All District Honorable Mention selection in 2003 &
2006, 1st team All-District in 2004 & 2005 and Offensive MVP in
2005.

Katelyn is the daughter of Marvin and Brenda Gola and has two
brothers, Brett and Matt.
