Started in all 35 games for the Pirates..went 35-116 from the plate
for .302 batting average, fifth best on the team...had three
doubles, on triple and one homerun on the season...drove in 21 runs
and scored 15 times...posted a .371 slugging percentage and .314 on
base percentage...walked one time and had two sacrifice
flies...stole one base in two attempts...had 288 putouts, 13
assists and 15 errors for .953 fielding percentage.
High School
Hoover was a Second Team All-District pick in 2006 and 2007, a
First Team All District pick in 2008 and Team Captain in her senior
season for the Cougars at Clark HS in San Antonio, TX.
