SHERMAN, TEXAS- The Pirates traveled to play the Austin College Roos for a 3-Game Series. 

Southwestern impoved their record to 19-18 after getting the sweep versus Austin College. Southwestern battled the entire time in GAME 1 before Sav Frieze brought in two runs in the 6th inning and put the Pirates up by 2 runs. They were able to hold off the Roos and won 6-5. Sam Martinez continued with her strong hitting and savvy baserunning for GAME 2 and Hailey Arrington pitched a complete game as the Pirates won the first game of the doubleheader, 7-3. The Roos took the lead in the 4th inning of the GAME 3 by scoring 5 runs. Southwestern countered in the 5th inning and scored 5 straight as well. in the top of the 6th, Kathryn Dull hit a SAC Fly to bring in Sam Martinez for the last run of the day and the Pirates finished out the series with another win, 7-5. 

The Pirates close out their regular season and travel to play a series versus Centenary on April 29.
