2014-15

Place made 28 appearances on the court for the Pirates, averaging 13.8 minutes and 5.7 points per game. She shot 42.3% from the floor and 40.5% from three point range on the season and made the second most threes on the team with 34. Place had a season-high 17 points against Schreiner University on January 17th, going 6-8 from the floor and 4-6 from three point range. 

2013-14

Place appeared in 26 games this season, averaging 5.5 points and 2.9 rebounds in 13.9 minutes per game. She led the team in three point percentage, shooting .348 from long range and was third in made three’s with 23. Place shot 38 percent from the floor and 77 percent from the free throw line. Place posted a season-high 19 points against Austin College on January 17th, going 6-7 form the floor and 3-4 from three point range and a perfect 4-4 from the free throw line. To open the year, Place grabbed a season-high eight rebounds. Place was a member of the SCAC Academic Honor Roll.

Other College

McKamie attended Howard Payne University. While there, she was a member of the HPU Women's Basketball Team during the 2011-2012, and 2012-2013 seasons. She also earned academic honors by achieving a GPA that ranked her on the President's List in the fall of 2011.

High School

McKamie attended Gatesville HS and graduated in 2011. While there she was named District MVP and earned All-State Honorable Mention in 2010. In 2010 and 2011 she served as the team captain for her basketball team, and was a member of the National Honor Society and President of the Student Council.

Personal

McKamie is the daughter of Allen and Tonya Place. She has four siblings, Ashley, Amber, Nick and Shea. She is a kinesiology major at Southwestern University
