A 2009 graduate of Lake Travis High School, Katelyn was a three time selection to the Academic All-District team and selected to the Academic All-State team her senior year, two time All-District selection. She earned three varsity letters for basketball and four for track.

Katelyn is the daughter of Scott and Elizabeth and has one sister, Victoria. Katelyn is a Biology major at SU.
