2008-2009 (Senior Year)
Played in 24 games and started one contest in his final season with
the Pirates...averaged 12.9 minutes per game...was 21-39 (53.8%)
from the field and 4-9 (44.4%) from beyond the arc...shot 37 free
throws and made 23 of them for a 62.2 free throw
percentage...pulled down 40 rebounds...recorded 14 assists, four
blocks and 11 steals...averaged 2.9 points per game.
2007-2008 (Junior Year)
Salinas appeared in 16 games and got one start on the season for
the Bucs...he saw action in 8 SCAC contests...averaged 7.4 minutes
per game and logged 119 total minutes on the floor...scored 26
points (1.9 points per game) and went 10-32 from the field (.313 FG
percentage)...shot 4-16 in SCAC play...made 3 3-pointers on the
year...grabbed 13 rebounds, had 9 assists, 3 blocks and 4
steals...3 of those steals came in SCAC play...led the team in
blocked shots with 1 vs. Ohio Northern (12/29/07), Hendrix
(1/06/08) and Oglethorpe (1/26/08).
2006-2007 (Sophomore Year)
Salinas appeared in 27 games starting 7 on the year and started 4
and saw action in all 14 SCAC games...averaged 12.7 minutes per
game totaling 329 minutes on the year...averaged 13.3 minutes per
game in SCAC contests...scored scored 92 points averaging 3.5
points per game...he scored 59 points in SCAC games averaging 4.2
points per game...ranked fifth on the team in defensive rebounds
with 44 (1.7 per game) and tied for fifth on the team in total
rebounds grabbing 59 averaging 2.3 per contest...had 9
assists...ranked second on the team with 11 block and had 15 steals
on the year...led the team in scoring with 14 points vs. Trinity
(2/9/07), led the team in rebounds with 6 vs. Austin College
(2/17/07), vs. Rhodes College he led the team with 3 steals and 3
blocked shots (12/2/06).
2005-2006 (First-Year)
Salinas appeared in 16 games and saw action in 9 conference
contests...shot 6-14 from the floor and and went 3-8 (.375%) from
the 3-Pt line scoring 21 points in his rookie year for a 1.3 points
per game average...dished out 3 assists, had 3 blocks and had one
steal and also pulled down 5 rebounds...on 12/1/05 vs. Trinity had
the team high with 1 block.
High School
Salinas was a three time letterman in basketball and was selected
to the First Team ALl-Academic team three years in a row as well as
was picked to the First Team All-District team in 2005, also
lettered two year in Track and Field for the Owls at Highlands HS.

Micah is the son of Diana Salinas...born on November 3, 1986...is
a Business major with a History minor at SU.
