GEORGETOWN, Texas — The Southwestern men's basketball team struggled to its worst offensive performance of the season in a 77-55 loss to the Centenary Gentlemen.

Centenary's Seth Thomas did most of the Gentlemen's damage with 11 points on 4-for-5 shooting and stellar defense, recording a block while altering several others to lead Centenary to a 43-21 lead.

The Pirates' 55 points were their lowest offensive output of the season. Southwestern's shooting woes (17-for-55, 30.9 percent) were compounded by 14 turnovers, including 11 on Centenary steals to give the Gents a 13-7 advantage in points off turnovers.
