GEORGETOWN, TEXAS - Southwestern Men's Basketball (1-20) continued their road trip to Sherman, Texas for a matchup versus the Austin College Roos (10-11). The Pirates went into halftime with the lead but the Roos were able to battle back and defend their home court, winning 73-68. 

HIGHLIGHTS:

• Luke Had scored 14 points and finished with 6 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 steals. 

• Brock Luechtefeld grabbed 5 rebounds to go with his 14 points.

• Gio Gutierrez went 5/5 from FG's and 1/1 for 3-pointers to finish with 12 points. 

• Jacob Hester added 11 points while coming off the bench and leading the Pirates in minutes played. 

NOTES:

• The Pirates shot 10/17 from the free throw line

• Southwestern scored 40 of their points in the paint compared to 22 from Austin College

• Austin College's bench outscored the Pirates by 8 points
