GEORGETOWN, TEXAS- Men's Basketball traveled to Longview, TX to play against the 1-0 LeTourneau YellowJackets. 

Brock Luechtefeld gave the Pirates 15 points and Sebastian Loder added 13, but Southwestern struggled to find their rhythm in Longview. Out of halftime, the Pirates pulled to within 4 points but the YellowJackets countered with a 16-0 run over the next five minutes and extended their lead to double digits. LeTourneau never trailed the contest and limited Southwestern to 33.% shooting from the field.
