Caplan started 17 of 25 games on the year and started 9 of 14 SCAC contests on his way to being selected to the Honorable Mention All-SCAC team for his efforts on the court for the Pirates...Caplan led the team in scoring 13 times with a season and career high 26 points vs. FDU Florham on 11/24/06...also led the team in rebounds 9 times with a season high 9 vs. Hardin Simmons (11/21/06)...logged 667 minutes (second best on team) averaging 26.7 per game....shot 92-206 (.447) from the floor and 43-99 rom three on his way to lead the team in scoring 283 points averaging 11.3 per game which also ranked 18th in the conference...ranked second on the team in 3-Pt percentage (.434) which was also good enough for fifth best in the conference...ranking 16th in the conference and led the team in rebounds grabbing 5.0 per game for a total of 126 on the year...was first in defensive rebounds 109 and fourth on the team in offensive boards (17)...also led the team in dishing out a team high 71 assists (3.0 per game) and was fourth on the team in steals with 23...led the team in assists 9 times with a season high 9 vs. the University of Chicago (11/25/06)...also had 8 blocks in his junior campaign. 2005-2006 [Sophomore Year]
