Kyle Howard Wins SCAC Player of the Week

Southwestern University Pirates men's basketball point guard Kyle Howard was named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Player of the Week for games played from Monday, Dec. 9 through Sunday, Dec. 15. 

Howard scored 12 points, two rebounds, and two assists; nailing the game-winning jumper over the outstretched arms of Colorado College big man CooXooEii Black. He followed that up with eight points and six rebounds in just 20 minutes against Johnson & Wales. 

The Southwestern University Pirates are 6-3 this season and 2-0 in conference play. The Pirates will resume conference play on Sunday, Dec. 29 against Schreiner University at 5:30 p.m.
