A junior forward from San Angelo, Texas, Zach Whitlock has been named the SCAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week for games played Monday, February 15th through Sunday, February 21st.

Whitlock put up 23 points as Southwestern took down top seeded TLU 83-81. He shot 9-11 from the floor for 81.8% and was 5-6 from the free throw line. Whitlock also added eight rebounds and one block.

Whitlock earned the week one player of the week honor this season.

The Pirates hold the No. 3 seed heading into this weekend's conference tournament and will face Austin College on Friday at 3 p.m. in Shreveport, La.
