NFCA Announces 2022 All-America Scholar Athletes, Honors 10 Pirates

The National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) announced its 2022 All-America Scholar-Athletes, recognizing 10 Southwestern softball players for their academic excellence. 

Mattigan Aga, Kathryn Dull, Alex Fletes, Jodi Glenn-Millhouse, Meghan McCarthy, Maddie Mefford, Jessey Nunez, Erica Otto, Kassidy Tucker, and Kaylee White represented Southwestern on the list of 7,527 collegiate student-athletes who met the criteria. 

NFCA All-America Scholar-Athletes must achieve a 3.5 or better cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale for the 2021-22 academic year.

The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) had 44 student-athletes named All-America Scholar Athletes. Southwestern posted a SCAC-best 3.441 team GPA. To see the complete list of individuals recognized, click here.
