2012 (Senior)

Zearfoss had a stellar season for the Pirates on the mound. She led the SCAC in six statistical categories: ERA (1.32), batting average against (.206), runs allowed (19), earned runs allowed (14), walks allowed (12), and batters struck out looking (31). She was second in hits allowed 57, third in doubles allowed (9) and homers allowed (2), she was also fifth in batters struck out with 91. On February 27, she was named the SCAC Softball Pitcher-of-the-Week.

2011 (Junior)

Zearfoss posted a team low .95 ERA in her first season with the Pirates with a 17-6 record. In 25 appearances she made 23 starts and pitched 21 complete games with nine shutouts. In 148 innings of work she allowed 93 hits and 37 runs, 20 earned, while walking 36 and striking out 180. Zeafoss' ERA put her in the top 10 nationally for the 2011 season. She was named SCAC Pitcher of the Week three times (February 14-20, March 7-13, April 4-10), SCAC Newcomer-of-the-Year, SCAC Co-Pitcher-of-the-Year, All-SCAC First Team, and was an NFCA All-Region Second Team selection.

Prior to Southwestern

Lauren is a transfer from Tarleton State University where she played softball for two years. 

High School

Lauren was named the district MVP her senior year of high school and was a three time All District selection. 

Personal

She is the daughter of Robert and Patricia and has one sister, Amber.  Lauren is an accounting major at SU.
