2014

Ammon jumped 8.85 meters in the triple jump at the Tiger Relays and was the second best distance of the season for Southwestern. She took home second in the 400 hurdles at the SCAC Championships with a season-best time of 1:08.79 to earn All-SCAC honors. Ammon also had the second fastest time in the 200 meter run, posting a 29.47 at the Cactus Cup in March. She was a member of the SCAC Academic Honor Roll.

2013

Ammon ended the season strong, posting season best times in her final two meets. She ran a season best 18.94 in the 100 hurdles and wrapped up the season at the SCAC Championships with season bests in the 400 hurdles (1:06.54) and 4x400 (4:14.32). Ammon earned All-SCAC honors in all three events at the Championships and added another All-SCAC honor as part of the 4x100 and 4x400 relays.

2011

Ammon came in sixth place at the SCAC Championships in the 400 hurdles, finishing in a time of 1:11.97 after posting a personal best time of 1:11.28 in the qualifying round. She was also a member of the 4x400 relay that scored one point in a season best time of 4:18.68.

High School

In high school, Emily was named the 2010 Track and Cross Country MVP award, 2009 Cross Country MVP award, and 2010 Academic All-District Volleyball. Emily was an honor graduate and is majoring in kinesiology at SU.

Personal

Emily is the daught of Al and Suzy Ammon. She has two brothers, Jacob and Danny, and one sister, Sara.
