GEORGETOWN, TEXAS - Breanna Steele, a sophomore from  Happy Valley, Ore., has been selected for the SCAC Women's Track Co-Athletes of the Week for meets held from Monday, April 8 through Sunday, April 14. She shares the honor with co-athlete Kendall Accetta from Colorado College. 

Steele established a pair of school records this weekend at the SFA Carl Kight Invite. In the 800 meters she reset her own school record for the second race in  a row and was the top D3 athlete with a finish of 2:18.16. In the 1500 meters she ran a PR of 4:40.06, eight seconds faster than her previous best, and broke a  22-year old school record in the process. She was once again the top D3 athlete and was second overall. Brea sits at third place in both the 800 and 1500 in the  SCAC listing.
