Jaye Ashley finished fourth in the long jump (4.83m) and Morgan Gilpin was third in the javelin with a throw of 28.78m.

"I was very happy with our women's team today. We were missing a couple of our girls due to injury and sickness but we competed hard," Head Coach Andrew Diehl said. "It was exciting to see the way they competed. We know there's more in the tank and over the next few weeks we have to find a way to bring it out."

Southwestern will return to action next weekend, competing in the Angelo Relays in San Angelo, Texas on Saturday, April 6.
