2008-2009 (First Year)
Played in all 25 games in her first year with the
Pirates...averaged 7.4 minutes and 2.1 points per game...was 16-55
from the field for 29.1 percent and 12-43 from beyond the arc for
27.9 percent...was also 9-13 from the free throw line for 69.2
percent...pulled down 25 rebounds on the season, averaging one per
game...recorded seven assists, two blocks and four steals.
High School
Eckols was an Academic All-District pick (2006-2008), a Second
Team All-District pick (2007), a First Team All-District selection
(2008), won the Dana Prince Outstanding Female HS Athlete and the
Most Athletic Award in her senior year, also was the Athletic
Booster's Most Athletic Female in 2008 for the Goats at Groesbeck
HS.
Personal
Taylin is the daughter of Mitchell and Kenda Eckols...has on
brother - Janzen...is majoring in Kinesiology with a Psychology
minor at SU.
