Women's Basketball Comes Up Short Versus Texas-Dallas

GEORGETOWN, TEXAS- Women's basketball traveled to play the 3-1 University of Texas at Dallas Comets for a Thanksgiving Break matchup. 

The Pirates entered the contest 1-4 and jumped out to an early lead against the Comets, scoring 22 points in the first quarter alone. The Pirate's near-perfect shooting in the first quarter cooled off, and the Comets charged hard in the second quarter, giving them a 6-point lead at halftime. Emily Jasek connected for five three-pointers and finished with 18 points, leading the Pirates in points and minutes played. Aniyah Burke finished with 12 points and tallied up seven assists. 

The Comets pulled away from the Pirates in the 4th quarter and won 89-56.
