GEORGETOWN, TEXAS - Southwestern women's basketball (1-10) took on NCAA Division II St. Edwards University (2-4) in an exhibition game in Austin, Texas Tuesday night in the Recreation and Athletics Center on the campus of the Hilltoppers. The Hilltoppers bested the Pirates 81-54. 

HIGHLIGHTS

• Aniyah Burke came away with a game-high and a career-high 29 points with one rebound, and one assist.

• Trinity Benitez was second on the team in scoring with 10 points including six rebounds.

• Ellie Ward was third in scoring with seven points as well as two assists and four rebounds.

NOTES

• The Pirates as a whole shot 88.9% from the free-throw line

• Southwestern went 20/56 from the field 

• Burke went 5/7 from beyond the arc scoring 15 points off of three-pointers
