Cecily Woolfolk Named First Team All-SCAC

Southwestern University Pirates women's basketball center Cecily Woolfolk was named All-SCAC First Team honors for a second consecutive season. Teammate Noel Pratts received honorable mention.

The 6-foot senior from Crowley, Texas was the league's most dominant inside presence, averaging 16.9 points, 8.9 rebounds, and 1.6 blocks per game.

Woolfolk finished fourth in the conference in scoring and second in rebounds per game while leading the SCAC in blocks (41), made free throws (133) and free-throw attempts (207) this season.

Southwestern University's star player got stronger as the season went on, scoring 20 or more points in six of the Pirates' last eight games, including a season-high 27 points to defeat Colorado College in the final weekend of the regular season and 23 points in the first round of the SCAC Tournament to defeat them again.

Pratts averaged 12.0 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 1.7 steals per game.

Woolfolk ends her collegiate career with 1,408 points, 753 rebounds, and 104 blocks. The Pirates finished the season 11-16, including 8-10 in conference play.
