LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. – Southwestern guard Olivia Podaras was selected as the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Player of the Week for her play from December 28^th through January 3^rd.

Podaras, a junior from Houston, Texas, averaged 21.5 points and six rebounds per game to lead the Pirates. She shot 48.6% from the floor (17-35) and added in a team high seven steals and was the leading scorer in both games.

Southwestern went 1-1 over the week and moved to 3-9 on the season. They remain in SCAC action as they host Austin College on Friday night at 8 pm.
