BELTON, Texas – A big fourth-quarter push fell short as Southwestern faced a 20+ point deficit entering the period and fell 73-66.
- SU fell behind by seven after the first quarter and was outscored 21-8 in the second to face a 20 point deficit at halftime.
- The Pirates were much stronger in the third but pressed hard through the fourth quarter, outscoring UMHB 30-14 in the final frame. Ultimately, the hole was just too deep for Southwestern as they fell 73-66.
