Bartell started 26 of the 27 contests she appared in this season, averaging 26.3 minutes and 7.5 points per game. She was third on the team in field goal percentage (43.4%), third in steals (1.3) and fourth in rebounds, pulling down 5.8 per game. Bartell was selected to the SCAC All-Sportsmanship team in 2011.
2009-2010 (First-Year)
Started all 26 games in her first season with the Pirates, averaging 29 minutes per game...averaged 8.2 points and 4.3 rebounds per game...shot 81-174 for 46.6% from the field and 44-60 for 73.3% from the free throw line...pulled down 111 rebounds, dished out 42 assists, had one block, and had 33 steals on the season...named to the SCAC Spring 2010 Sudent-Athlete Academic Honor Roll.
High School
A 2009 graduate of Lake Travis High School, Katelyn was a three time selection to the Academic All-District team and selected to the Academic All-State team her senior year, two time All-District selection. She earned three varsity letters for basketball and four for track.
Personal
Katelyn is the daughter of Scott and Elizabeth and has one sister, Victoria. Katelyn is a Kinesiology major at SU.
