GEORGETOWN, Texas – The dynamic junior duo of Staley Mullins and Shae Seagraves put up 48 combined points as the Pirates sank the Stormy Petels 96-63 in SCAC conference action on Friday evening. Southwestern improves to 8-8 on the year and 4-3 in the conference while Oglethorpe falls to 7-9 overall and 2-5 in the SCAC.

Southwestern wasted no time exerting their dominance in the first half forcing more turnovers (15) than points allowed (14) through the opening 14 minutes. The Pirates never trailed the Stormy Petrels in the contest and were up by 17 points after a Seagraves layup with 21 seconds left in the half to go into the break with a 45-28 lead.
