2010 (Senior)
Leon was a consistent presence in the Pirate's backfield, competing in 19 contests and starting 18 times. He scored one goal for two points in his final season with the Pirates, taking seven shots, four on goal, for a .571 hots on goal percentage. Leon was an All-SCAC First Team and NSCAA All-West Region Third Team selection.
2009 (Junior)
Started 12 games this season and appeared in 16...had one goal and four assists for six points...took 10 shots, five on goal, for a .500 shots on goal percentage.
2008 (Sophomore)
Played in 14 games and started three of those contests in his sophomore season with the Pirates...had one goal and four assists for six points...took 15 shots, 10 on goal, for a .667 shots on goal percentage.
2007 (First Year)
Leon appeared in 14 matches in his rookie season for the Bucs...appeared in 7 SCAC matches...recorded 4 shots with two being on target...registered his first collegiate minutes in a 3-1 victory vs. Hardin Simmons on September 7. and had one shot in that match.

Fernando attended Skyline HS in Dallas and as a Raider he was a TASC All-Academic pick and the Defender of the Year.

Fernando is the son of Silvano and Etelvina Leon...has siblings - Yesenia, Fawstino, Diana and Silvano Jr....is currently majoring in anthropology at SU.
