2012

Stuart started all 12 of his appearances on the mound for the Pirates, compiling a 2-10 record. He allowed 86 hits and 58 runs (49 earned) in a team high 69.1 innings. Matt struck out 33 batters, second best on the team, and recorded a 6.36 ERA. Was named to the SCAC All-Sportsmanship team.

2011

Stuart made 10 appearances and seven starts on the mound for the Pirates and recorded a 2-2 record with one complete game. In 52.1 innings of work he allowed 65 hits and 39 runs, 31 earned, while walking 16 and striking out 33.

2010

Appeared in 14 games for the Pirates and started in 7 contests...allowed 70 hits in 40.1 innings pitched...was third on the team in strikeouts with 22...tied for first on the team in wins with 3...finished the season with a 9.15 ERA.

2009 (First Year)

During the 2009 season, Stuart had over 17 innings in 11 appearances and 2 starts.  Stuart recorded 13 strikeouts and had a record of 1-2.

High School

Matt is a 2008 graduate of St. Thomas High School out of Houston, TX. He is a four year letter winner in baseball and a three year letter winner in football. Matt is a 2 year 1st-team All-District and 2 year All-State selection. He was also named to the 2008 All-State Tournament Team. He was a member of the 2007 and 2008 baseball teams that made it to the TAPPS State Tournament. Matt is the son of Kirk and Mary Stuart and has two sisters, Jennifer and Kathryn. He is planning on majoring in Business.

Matt is the son of Kirk and Mary and has two sisters, Jennifer and Kathryn.  Matt is currently majoring in business with a minor in kinesiology.
