Joseph earned varsity letters in football and baseball while competing for the Mustangs. He was named to the 2011 HABA All Star Team, Baseball All-District Team, Academic All-State Football Team, and Football All-District Team. He was also named the Taylor High School outstanding pitcher for both the season and district.
