Sale posted top times in the 500 freestyle, 200 freestyle and 200 backstroke. He earned a top 10 time at the SCAC Championships in the 500 free with a time of 4:56.49. He finished 13th in the 200 free swimming to a time of 1:46.82. He was also named to the SCAC Academic Honor Roll.
