Martinez is a three-time state qualifier in the 200 IM and also made state in the 100 fly in 2013. A three-time Regional Champion in the 200 IM, Martinez was named District Swimmer of the Year 2012-2013. Martinez is also a member of the National Honor Society and Science National Honor Society and served as team captain in 2013-2014.
